CANTERBURY v. MILLERTON CHRISTCHURCH, Sept. 24. With a high wind making ball control difficult, the three-goal draw about represented the merits of the two sides. Both teams had little trouble in holding a territorial advantage with the wind behind them and using the right tactics each should have considerably added to 11s score. Goals were scored for Millerton by C. Orman (2) and S. Anderson. H. Field, E. Phillips, and R. Furlong scored for Canterbury. RUGBY, September 24. England defeated Wales B—38 —3 in the international Soccer match at AVembley.
