( ii was resolved that the report of the New Zealand Council’s diving ( si.ib-cotmnittee be circularised among <
all diving judges. The report deals ' with the interpretation of certain div- ■ ing rules. It was decided to ask the Hokitika, Reefton and Westport schools for the numbers of children attending the respective schools who gained distance swimming certificates in the past season. It was also decided to circularise all schools in the district mentioning the swimming and lifesaving certificates which are available. and the procedure to be adopted in securing them, and also inviting headmasters to make full use of the Centre in all swimming matters.
