TECHNICAL DEFEAT MARIST.

The Greymouth Technical and Marist High School first fifteens met at Rugby Park, yesterday afternoon, the former winning a good game by 17 points to nil. The winners were much superior in weight, but splendid tackling kept their speedy backs in check. The star of the match was the Technical half-back, who scored two tries and made a third. Mr. N. Eggleton was referee. CHCH. SCHOOLS MATCH. CHRISTCHURCH, July 14. The Christchurch Boys’ High School team, regarded as one of the brightest combinations that have represented the school for some years, was beaten by Christ’s College by 8 points to 6, in the annual match played to-day on the Christ’s College ground.
