The West Coast Rugby Union’s management committee met last evening, Mr. J. Guy presiding. A motion of condolence was passed with Mr. T. E. Coates on the death of his wife. , . , The Buller Union advised that the primary schools’ tournament will be held at Westport this sesason and suggested that it be held from August 25 to August 28.—The letter was referred to the Schools’ Association. Mr. T. Mclntosh was appointed manager, R. R. King captain, an <l /• Keating vice-captain of. the West Coast team which will assemble at the Greymouth railway station at 715 a.iri. on Saturday to travel to Westport. The three selectors are to be invited to travel with the team. The Schools’ Association was granted permission to conduct, a seven-a-side tournament, on July 31.
