Omitted from Acceptances: Gunga Din 7.8 was omitted from the telegraphed list of acceptances for the Westport Handicap, at the Westport Jockey Club’s meeting on Saturday. Change of Stables: Bright Form, who has not yet raced this season is now in A. Didham’s stable. Last season the then four-year-old son of Sunny Form ran two seconds and three thirds in 13 starts. Piastre: The 1941 winnei - of the Auckland Cup, Piastre, has been taken up by the Trentham trainer, W. Higgins, who has also Tamakaha under his charge, Autumn Candidates: Macedoine was sporting a bandage on her rear hind leg, but she pulled up sound after a good gallop at Invercargill last week. She will be ridden in the Riverton Cup and Great Autumn Handicap by W. F. Ellis, and L. J. Ellis will be on Royal Lancer in the Riverton Cup. By Irish Lancer: A two-year-old gelding, leased by F. A. Roberts from D. J. McDonald, has arrived here from Otago. He is a well-grown chestnut, by Irish Lancer, his dam being Half Note, by Paper Money from Pink Terrace, by Tractor from All Pink. A Come-back: H. Pritchard, who trained Royal Game and other good ones for the late Mr. W. H. Ballinger, and Acceptable for Mr. R. J. Murphy, intends coming back into the game, and has applied for a trainer’s license. Riccarton Riders: L. J. Ellis will ride Daljarrock in the Great Easter and Arctic Dawn in the Great Autumn. A. Messervy will be on Scottish Dale and Palfrey. C. H. Mackie on Lord Advocate and St. Cloud. D. J. Thistoll on Mauretania and Sir Gundi, S. Green on Palora and Little Secfret. C. T. Wilson on Tutere and Dominate. V. Barrington has been en'gaged for Fur Coat in the Great Easter, while there is no Great Easter
