Roberts from D. J. McDonald, has arrived here from Otago. He is a well-grown chestnut, by Irish Lancer, his dam being Half Note, by Paper Money from Pink Terrace, by Tractor from All Pink. A Come-back: H. Pritchard, who trained Royal Game and other good ones for the late Mr. W. H. Ballinger, and Acceptable for Mr. R. J. Murphy, intends coming back into the game, and has applied for a trainer’s license. Riccarton Riders: L. J. Ellis will ride Daljarrock in the Great Easter and Arctic Dawn in the Great Autumn. A. Messervy will be on Scottish Dale and Palfrey. C. H. Mackie on Lord Advocate and St. Cloud. D. J. Thistoll on Mauretania and Sir Gundi, S. Green on Palora and Little Secfret. C. T. Wilson on Tutere and Dominate. V. Barrington has been en'gaged for Fur Coat in the Great Easter, while there is no Great Easter
