CROQUET The final of the champion singles of the West Coast Croquet Association was held on the Makura Club’s green, yesterday afternoon, when.'Mrs W. H. Walmsley defeated Mrs J. W. Hannan in the best two of three games. This is the first time the trophy has changed hands since the competition was inauguarted in 1936. Till now it has been held by Mrs E. Whibley, formerly of Greymouth and now of Christchurch.
