LATER.— The Berlin radio announced: “A son of a member of Churchill’s Cabinet will make a statement over the radio to-morrow evening and following nights.” Mr. L. S. Amery interviewed in London said he was completely puzzled by the report about his son being in Berlin. “It is just conceivable that he was asked to go to get treatment for the lung, trouble. He is an invalid. That is why he was staying in the South of France.” 4 BOMBINGS IN BURMA — RUGBY, Nov. 18. A joint war communique from India states: R.A.F.
