TROTTING MEETING

[TO TIIE EDITOR. 1 . Sir,—Having been a race-goer over a number of years, I have always felt sore when I saw people gaining admittance by free tickets. Anyone who takes part in a sport, should be a sport, and not get a day’s entertainment at the expense of others. Will the Greymouth Trotting Club cancel all tickets, other than those used by members, for this meeting and they could then give ten per cent, of the admittance fees to the Patriotic Fund? Yours etc., TEMPUS FUGIT.
