ARAHURA DAIRY COMPANY The annual report of the Arahura Dairy Factory Company, Ltd., states that, because of the unfavourable conditions experienced during the season, the manufacture of butter showed a decline over the previous year, but directors looked forward with confidence to the result of the present season’s operations. The season’s average pay-out was 15.23 d per lb. for’ all grades. The directors recommend payment of the usual dividend of 4 per cent., which will amount to £6l/15/-.
OKARITO. Okarito dredge report states that 14oz 12dwt was recovered in 82 hours. —P.A. RIMU Rimu wash-up for the fortnight ended October 20 was 330.850 z in 253 hours 18 minutes, for 78,744 cubic yards treated. AUSTRAL NEW ZEALAND For the 14 days ending at midnight on October 17, the dredge of Austral New Zealand Mining, Ltd., produced 217 ounces of bullion in 246 hours.
