The names of the following clubs, which had not returned membership certificates as at May 31, 1941, were removed from the register:—Beaconsfield, Brighton, Kauroa, Makirikiri, and Patangata. Authority was given to write off subscriptions unpaid by the following clubs, and to write the clubs off the register in all cases where resignations have not already been minuted: —Glenagles, Havelock North, Hawarden, Maihihi, Mount Maunganui, Ngahinepouri, Okaihau, Palmerston North, Seafield Country, Totara Flat. The secretary reported that he had received advice- from the National Patriotic Fund Board that it had receved a letter from Colonel Waite in which he said that the golf material forwarded from New Zealand was of the greatest value and was much appreciated. It was decided not to go on with the issue of membership cards.
