LEAGUE FOOTBALL
COMMITTEE MEETING. Mr. J. Stokes presided over a meeting of the Management Committee of the West Coast Rugby League last evening, also present being Messrs A. Kyle, J. Griffen, J. J. Anisy, L. Hunter, B. Ramsay, J. Oakley, and P. Sweetman (Secretary). A challenge frorm the Brunner Club for the Challenge Shield was referred to the Fixtures Committee to arrange a suitable date. Advice was received from the Dominion Council that dates for the Northern Union Cup matches may be arranged between the West Coast, Canterbury, and Inangahua Leagues. Fixtures for Sunday were arranged as follow:—
Senior: Blackball v. Runanga, at Wingham Park, (J. Griffen). Marist v. Brunner at Brunner (S. Smith). Ngahere, a bye. Third Grade: Marist v. Brunner, at Wingham Park, (B. Casey). Runanga v. Blackball, at Blackball (A. Kennedy). Schoolboys, 7st. 71b (Saturday): Marist A v. Runanga, at Victoria Park, at 1.30 p.m, Marist B v. Brunner, at Victoria Park, at 2 p.m. Blackball, a bye.
