A claim from a Wanganui-woman for £2/7/6 for damage to a coat she was wearing when it was torn by contact with a projecting hinge on a rubbish receptacle in the business area, came before the Wanganui City< Council (reports the “Herald”). The council decided to offer £ 2 .without prejudice in full settlement of the claim.
