Mr. W. E. Richards, of Hokitika, is a patient at the Westland Hospital, with influenza.
Mr. Tom M. Archer. M.A., has been appointed an inspector of the Education Department. Mr. Archer, is the second son of the Hon. J. K. Archer, M.L.C., and Mrs. Archer.
Messrs P. H. Morey, District Engineer. and G. H. McLean, District Traffic Manager, Railways Department, will leave, this evening, on return to Christchurch.
