COLONIAL SUGAR CO. SYDNEY. May 25. The Colonial Sugar Refining Company’s report on its business for the year en.ded March 31, reveals that, alter providing for depreciation amounting to £386,990, together with all other charges, the profit during that period amounted to £924,619. To this is added a balance in the pron and loss account of £482.219. An interim dividend was paid in November, 1941, and it absorbed £497.250. leaving available £919,588. The Board’s estimate of cane available for crushing in Australia in the forthcoming season is somewhat lesi? than the amount crushed last year, whereas in Fiji the quantity 'is about the same. The report will be submitted at a meeting of shareholders on June 3. GILLESPIES.
