WOMAN “HUSBAND.”
LONDON, March 5. Alice Clare Foskett, 35, and Evelyn Maud Norton, 34, both of Ducaneroad, Shepherd’s Bush, were placed on probation at Slough yesterday. They admitted having gone through a form of marriage together at Stoke Poges last year. Mr. J. F. Clayton, prosecuting, said Foskett, the “husband” had said she offered marriage when Norton was expecting a child, to give the baby a name. Norton did not have a baby.
