POLICY DANGEROUS

SUIT AGAINST U.S. MAGAZINE PHILADELPHIA. April 7. George Wanderman. of New York, who holds 50 shares of 3,394,000 shares of common stock of the Curtis Publishing Company, has brought a suit in the Federal District Court here for an injunction which would restrain the “Saturday Evening Post” from continuing the practice of an alleged “anti-Government isolationist policy.” Wanderman’s petition—described as the first of its kind in 153 years of Federal practice here—alleged that continuation of the magazine’s present policies would be hurtful to the 25,500 stockholders of the Curtis company. Counsel for Wanderman said that the question of a free Press was not involved in the suit. The sole objective was protection of the financial rights of stockholders.
