LONDON, May 1. The 8.8. C. observer in Kuibishev has given an account of how the Russian workers spent May Day. .In one factory hundreds of employees spent the day making un if orms for the Russian Army. A Soviet trade union leader who recently visited Britain spoke in, Moscow of the intense industry of Britain’s workers. In Britain, the Trade Union Congress received a 'Jay Lay message :tom the Greater New York industrial Council expressing a pled/e of complete solidarity towards the annihilation of Nazism, Fasos n, and Japanese militarism. May Day in France was marked by clashes between German troops and French civilians at Rouen.
