NELSON LAND BOARD

MONTHLY MEETING HELD

The monthly meeting of the Nelson Land Board was held on February 12, there being present, Messrs P. R. Wilkinson, Commissioner of Crown Lands (chairman), J. O'Regan, A. Rowling, J. Creighton and G. L. Mead. Following a discussion on the dates of meetings for 1942, it was decided that the resolution of 11/9/41 be rescinded in so far as it related to the months of March to December. 1942, and to recommend that Board meetings be held at 10.30 a.m. on the second Wednesday of the months ol April, June, August, October and December. ‘ It was resolved that the application of Mr J. 11. Harling for a renewable lease of Lot 7, town of St. Arnaud Evtension No. 1 be approved, capital value £3O, annual rental £l/10/as from 11/2/42. It was resolved that the application of Mr W. T. Brown for a renewable lease title to section 23, Lown of Carters Beach, be approved as from 12/2/42, capital value £5O, annual rental £2/10/-.
