PILOT OFFICER KILLED
TRAINING-FLIGHT CRASH WELLINGTON, February 17 An officer of the R.N.Z.A.F. was killed, and an airman pilot under training was seriously injured yesterday, when an aircraft of the R.N.Z.A.F. crashed during a training flight. The personnel concerned were: Killed: Pilot Officer Hugh Maxwell McGill. Father, Mr. Hugh McGill, of Eastbourne, Wellington. Seriously injured: Leading Aircraftman Geoffrey Rogers, who was admitted to hospital.
