REEFTON, September 12. Miss Margaret Thompson, who is to be married on Saturday next, was entertained on Monday evening by the Bible Class, choir and members of Wesley Methodist Church. Musical items were given by the Rev. T. L. Norwell, Misses Honey (2), Misses Switzer (2), Kearns, Waddell and Switzer and choir. Mrs E. Baird was accompanist. Presentations of a teaset from the Bible Class, table linen from the choir, and a cheque from the congregation, were made to Miss Thompson, who was offered felicitations. Mr Norwell and Messrs R. Honey and E. Baird were the speakers. Miss Thompson returned tnanks for the gifts. Lance-Corporal D. Baird was also farewelled by the congregation.
