The following cablegram has been received by the Joint Council of the Order of St. John and Red Cross Society from Colonel Waite, ActingRed Cross Commissioner in the Middle East: The Red Cross at present has notifications of prisoners as follow: —In hospital at Kokinia—s3s. At the Ecole Polytechnique Hospital, Athens —44. In Corinthia, Greece — 980. In Oflag. V. 8., Germany—77. Total—l 636. “I believe that there are a number of war prisoners still in Crete. Foodstuffs sent via Canada and Geneva will serve those in the German camps. There are sufficient supplies here for all requirements.”

Advice has been received that Lieutenant G. A. Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. L. Brown, High Street, who was previously reported missing, is a prisoner of war, and is injured. Mrs. A. T. Wallis has received advice that her brother, Gnr'. P. R. Blunden, previously reported wounded and missing, is a prisoner /f war m Greece. Mrs. S. Adamson, Nelson Creek, has been advised that her son, Pte. Joseph Leslie Adamson, who was previously reported wounded and missing, is now a wounded prisoner of war in Greece. AIR FORCE CASUALTIES.
