SECRET RADIO

ANTI-NAZI ACTIVITIES (Rec. 11.55 a.m.f LONDON, July 13.. A new secret radio station in Germany daily accuses the Nazi Party leaders of corruption and gross immorality, says a correspondent “somewhere in Europe.” The nature of the broadcasts suggests that the station is directed by old Nazis, who are strongly anti-Jewish and anti-Communist, and want the fulfilment of the party’s original programme. They complain that the party, is compromising itself by dealing with Jews, and allege that the leaders’ scandalous conduct is bringing the party into disrepute. The station recently announced an R.A.F. raid on Bremen before the British'mentioned it, and claimed that the Nazi Party leaders were the first to leave by "car when the rain of bombs began. They arc also allegedly big shareholders in a company which has made colossal profits, by compelling all the people of Bremen to buy its fire-ex-tinguishers. Bremen’s fire-fighting equipment is hopelessly deficient. The up-to-date information of the announcers creates the impression that the station has a strong following, with a wide network of informants.—U.P.A. < GOERING "iNDISGRACE. (Rec. 2.10 p.m.) LONDON, July 13. According to the Moscow radio, well-informed Stockholm circles state that Hitler and Goering violently quarrelled on the eve of the invasion of Russia. Goering argued that the losses in the West, also in the Balkans and Crete, left the Luftwaffe unfit for a new campaign. Goering re-, fused responsibility for the new drive. Hitler became frenzied, called Goering a coward, and declared that he would command the Luftwaffe himsell. The radio adds that the disappearance of Goering’s name from the German Press tends to prove the veracity of the report. It is also rumoured that Himmler insisted upon Goering being interned.—U.P.A.
