Lieutenant Harold Benn Ward. Wife, Mrs. F. A. N. Ward, Sydney. Second Lieutenant John Graham Heasley. Father, J. Heasley, Timaru. Second Lieutenant Edward John Waters. Father C. Waters, Auckland. Gunner Leonard Blewett. Wife, Mrs. K. Blewett, New Plymouth. It is believed that Second-Lieuten-ant Heasley is “Jock” Heasley, who was formerly a member of the Bank of New South Wales staff at Greymouth, and played as full back for the United Rugby Club. AIR FORCE. WELLINGTON, May 20. The following air casualties are announced:— Sergeant Walter Alexander Watts, R.N.Z.A.F., previously reported missing, now reclassified missing, but believed killed in action. Mother, Mrs. E. Watts, Auckland. Pilot Officer Gilbert Theodore Kimberley. R.N.Z.A.F., previously reported missing, reclassified missing, but believed killed in action. Father, Rev. O. J. Kimberley, All Saints’ Vicarage, Nelson. Sergeant Christopher Falcon Scott, previously reported wounded and a prisoner of war, now reported well, and interned in unoccupied France. Father, Mr. J. S. Scott, Raukapuka, Geraldine.

Died in hospital from wounds received as the result of air operations. Mother, Mrs M. E. Gannaway, Napier. NAVALRATING. WELLINGTON, May 20. ! The death of a New Zealand rating serving with the Royal Navy is announced. He was Bertie Victor Read, telegraphist, R.N.V.R. (N.Z.), killed in an air raid.
