BLENHEIM, April 28. Marlborough’s share in the million pound appeal concluded with the winding up of the Queen Carnival, at the Waterlea racecourse, on Saturday. There were huge crowds’pi esent, and a fitting finale was provided for months of organising in connection with the Princess Competition, which preceded the Queen Carnival.
