PATRIOTIC FUNDS
| .WESTLAND RADIO APPEAL.
1 As a result of the appeal made through the radio, last evening, in connection' with the Dominion-wide broadcast of the British Stars in Hollywood programme, the patriotic funds in Westland will benefit to the exten: of £1,230/18/11. The majority of the donations, were earmarked for the candidates in the Queen Car-; nivals at Greymouth and Hokitika. Details are as follow:—
