REEFTON, April 26.

The Reef ton Jockey Club’s Autumn meeting is being held to-day in fine but dull weather. The track is in good order and there is a large attendance. Result:

Also started: 4 Phil (C. Stokes) 8.3 and 5 Lights Out (C. H. Mackie) 7.0. Won by a length; a length and ahalf. Phil was fourth. -Time, 1.44 3-5.

Lights Out swung round at the barrier and lost any chance he had. Miss Waifarere was the early leader from Winchelsea, Metric and Phil. The order remained the same along the back but three furlongs from the post Metric moved into second place. She followed Miss Waifarere into the straight, with Winchelsea handy. Miss Waiiarere held her own in the run to the post and won decisively by a length from Winchelsea; with Metric a length and a-half away third. Tote £4532. SOUTH CANTERBURY J.C. WASHDYKE, April 26.
