LOS ANGELES, April 25. > The six-year-old Carolyn Lee will earn 37,500 dollars in the ensuing year. The Superior Court approved a movie contract yesterday, which calls for 1250 dollars for three pictures a year. The contract guarantees her teh weeks’ salary for each picture, and- permits her to spend six weeks, afterwards, with, her parents.

The Grimsby trawler, Volesus, established a world record for a 21 days trip, of a landed catch which fetched £14,344.
BRITAIN’S ROAD DEATHS.

, Announcing the figures of those persons who have died in Britain as the result of road accidents during March, the Ministry of Transport I states the total number was 834 as against 496 in March, 1940. Of the I total, less than half met their death through road accidents during blackout hours.
