SHIPPING NOTES. Hokitika sailed last night for Hokitika. Poolta was unable to sail last night on account of a thick fog over the river and is now expected to depart this afternoon ‘for Wellington. She is expected to return on Monday, to load coal and timber for Miramar and Wellington. Alexander is loading timber for Port Waikato and is schedule to sail to-night. Kaimiro is to leave Wellington today for Greymouth and on Thursday will load coal and timber for Auckland. Tjtoki is due on Thursday, from Wellington, and will load coal for; Dargaville. I Karu is due on Friday evening/ from Wellington, to load timber for return. Karepo leaves Auckland to-mor-row with cargo for Greymouth. She is due on Saturday, to load coal for Wellington. Holmglen is due about February 24 to load timber for Port Waikato.
