ZIONIST FEDERATION
SUPPORT FOR. BRITAIN. [BRITISH OFFICIAL WIRELESS.] RUGBY, October 20. Professor Brodetsky, supporting the resolution, expressed gratification that there were thousands of Jews in Palestine who had been given an opportunity of joining in the struggle, but said he thought that it was the desire, as soon as possible, that the Governments of the British Empire, which were in fact prosecuting the war on behalf of humanity, should give the Jews inside Palestine and everywhere else an opportunity of joining as allies in the war. Mr. Pgul Goodman, referring to the Petain Government, said that in all the overwhelming tragedy of the fall of France, nothing stood more to: the discredit of the present French Government than its policy to make the Jews a scapegoat for the military defeat. k
