GREY MINIATURE RIFLES
PRESENTATION OF PRIZES. The annual “smoko” and presentation of prizes of the Grey Miniature Rifle Club was held in the Old Boys’ Rooms on Saturday evening. The president, Mr L. Forrest, presided, 40 members being present, also members of the Runanga Miniature and Grey and Brunner Defence Clubs. The prize-winners were:—Championship (Tisdall Cup): G. Smith. Handicap Championship (J. S. Robertson Cup): J. Morgan. Hotty Button Championship: J. Molloy. Patron J. O’Brien’s Medal: N. Fagerlund. President L. Forrest’s Cup: J. Morgan. J. L. Mitchell’s trophy: T. Garth. A. E. Kilgour’s trophy: F. Molloy. Teams’ competition, J. D. Edmond’s Cup: Kiwi team (G. Smith capt.), J. M!brgan, M. Garth, L. Forrest, A. Forrest, G. Webster, R. Holmes, and J. Gilmore). Junior Championship (P. J. McLean’s Cup): A. Webster. Handicap Championship (P. Thomson’s trophy): A. For-, rest. Club’s trophy: A. Webster. Second competition: D. Lindsay, G. Smith’s Cup: A. Webster. J. Morgan’s trophy: A. Webster. The following toast list was honoured: “The King.” Grey Miniature Rifle Club, proposed by T. Morgan, responded to by W.
