KATAN DEFEATS O’CONNOR

[per press association.]

INVERCARGILL, August 20.

In seven rounds of showmanship, Katan defeated O’Connor in a professional wrestling bout to-night, two falls to one. All the falls came from body presses. A section of the crowd showed resentment of the showmanship by throwing coins into the ring.
