FURTHER SUBSCRIPTIONS. • “Subscriptions are coming in very slowly,” said the Mayor (Mr F. A. Kitchingham), to-day, commenting upon the appeal for donations to the fund’ for the Centennial Memorial women’s , rest-room and Plunket rooms at Greymouth. “Only two people in receipt of universal superannuation responded to the suggestion that, unless they were in urgent need of it, they should donate the money to the memorial fund.” The following additional subscriptions are acknowledged:—lnchbonniePoerua W.I. 15/-, Railway officers £ 1/1/-, x Grey County Council £1 1/-, W.
