“FAMILY ROWS.”

DOCTOR HAS A CURE. Dr. Jacob L. Moreno, the wellknown psychiatrist, says that if people reacted their quarrels there would be fewer divorces,- states TitBits, London. If a husband seeks advice after a fierce quarrel with his wife, Dr. Moreno asks the man to repeat all that he said when angry, and write it down in the form of a oneact play. . Then he gets a woman assistant to act the part of the man’s wife, and re-acts the scene in front of the husband, who realises that the quarrel was ridiculous and that most of his accusations were unfair. Dr. Moreno takes the same line with women, except that the part of husband is taken by a man assistant. He calls his cure “dramatic therapy,” and maintains that when the fundamental causes of quarrels are exposed, domestic happiness can usually be restored.
