MYSTERIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES. CHRISTCHURCH, June 19. How Aircraftsman A. E. Bulman met his death is the subject of intensive investigation by the police, who do not believe that he fell from the top of the cliff. Had he done so, his injuries would have been far more extensive than they were. Most of the major bones would have been bi oken. The result sof the preliminary examination by Dr. Pearson, pathologist, suggest that death was due to a single blow bn the head, which shattered a small area Qf the skull.

Aircraftsman Bulman had injured his wrist while working as a rigger at the Wigram aerodrome, and was on a month’s leave. He stayed apparently at several places during the past month, and police are investigating his movements during this time, at: dare seeking information regarding the people with whom he associated.
