PRIMARY SCHOOLS SPORTS
REEFTON MEETING RESULTS. Held at Reefton in good weather on Friday last, a combined primary schools sports meeting, which was to have been conducted during Physical Fitness Week, but was postponed owing to the Prime Minister’s death, was ’attended by pupils from eight schools. About 400 children competed in the various events, and special excursion trains were run to Reefton. Visitors from Inanghua Junction to Greymouth were present. Reefton Convent School were the winners' of two cups v/ith 292 points, Reefton District High School being runners-up with a score of 166.
