NEAR EAST. [by CABLE —PRESS ASSN. —COPYBIGHT.] LONDON, March 11. The formation of a great Allied air force in the Near ’East is said to be making rapid progress. Discussions took place to-day at Ankara between the commanders of the British, French and Turkish air forces with a view to bringing about closer co-ordination among the three forces. Construction of new air bases in Turkey is expected to follow these talks and instructors from France and England are being sent to Turkey. CANADIAN POLITICS. TORONTO, March 11.
