MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE
WEST COAST ITINERARY
The Minister of Agriculture (Mr. W. Lee Martin) will visit the West Coast next week, and will represent the Government at the afternoon tea to the veterans to be held at Victoria Park pavjlion Greymouth, on Monday afternoon, in connection with the Grey District Centennial Celebrations. He will also attend the West Coast A. and P. Association’s Show at Victoria Park, on February 17. Mr. Lee Martin will arrive in mouth from Westport on Sunday and it was hoped he would be here in time to attend the United Service at the Children’s Park on Sunday afternoon, but this is now considered unlikely. On Monday morning, he will visit Rotomanu where he will receive deputations, and on Monday evening he WilL. receive further deputations in Greymouth. ’ • He will leave for South Westland on Tuesday morning, visiting Hari Hari, Wataroa and Weheka, where he will spend the night.' On Wednesday, he will inspect the Maili South Road as far as Paringa, the harbour at Bruce Bay and some of . the stands of white pine in that area. On Thursday, after visiting Haast, Okuru and Jackspn’s Bay, Mr. Lee Martin will return td Waiho, where he. will spend the night, going on to Hokitika the next ayd. After visiting Koiterangi and Kolratahi, on Friday afternoon, he will return to Hokitika where he will receive deputations, and then come on to Greymouth.. He will visit the A. and P. Show at Victoria Park on Saturday, and will leave, on his return to Wellington either on Sunday or. Monday.
