Wrestling of a lively nature was provided by a professional programme staged at the'Tbwn Hall.' In'his bout with J Batr'ds Pasha/' George O’Btien was disqualified when his second threw his towel round the Turk’s, neck in an effort to restrain Pasha after the gong had sounded for the end of the fourth round. Each man had previously secured a fall.
Jack Clark defeated Tiger Atkins, the latter being unable to continue after being back-slammed in the third round. Atkins secured a fall in the second round. . LEAGUE FOOTBALL. SYDNEY, November 21. Negotiations were" set afoot last night by the Rugby Board of Control, for a visit next season to Australia, of a New Zealand Rugby League team. The New South Wales Rugby League has decided to invite a New Zealand team to visit Australia, next season, the tour to include matches in New South Wales and Queensland.
