WOMEN HELPERS’ MEETING. [PER PREsI ASSOCIATION.]

WELLINGTON, November 20. Reports received from branches and groups in New Zealand at the annua meeting of the Dominion executive ot the Toe H League of Women Helpers indicated that there had been a successful process of rebuilding during 1939, and that recruitment was proceeding steadily. Encouraging support was given to the establishment of a central fund for the provision of a full time worker in New Zealand to carry out training . and extension \vbrk, and a substantial suni was voted to the fund. • The election of officers resulted:— Dominion secretary and treasurer. Miss E. M. Hyland; Dominion padre, Rev. 0. W. Williams. For the purpose of centralisation, a Dominion executive, with headquarters at Christchurch, was set up. Subject to approval, the central executive, is as follows: —Rev. 0. W. Williams, Miss Hyland, Miss M. G. Havelaar, Miss J. Mayo. ....
