GENERAL SIKORSKI

SCOTTISH TOUR CONCLUDES.

[BRITISH OFFICIAL WIRELESS.] \ RUGBY, November 18.

The Polish Prime Minister, General Sikorski, visited Scotland to-day, and conferred decorations on the personnel of the Polish warships. He called on the Lord Provost, - and visited Rosyth, and lunched at Admiralty House with the Commander-in-Chief at Rosyth. The Duke of Kent was present. General Sikorski later visited His Majesty’s ships at Rosyth, and subsequently proceeded to Edinburgh, where he met the Lord Provost and General Officer Commanding the Scottish Command. After dining with the Rear-Admiral nt Rosyth Dockyard, General Sikorski returned to London. An agreement has been signed between the Polish and Britsh Governments making provision for the cooperation of certain units of the Polish naval forces with those of the British .Navy.

General Sikorski, in a statement before going to France, said that he had a conference with Dr. Benes and M. Hodza, and arrived at a common her is’on to repair the damage done in their countries. He paid a tribute to t'no determination of Britain, also the magnificent bravery of Poßsh sailors in their daring escape from the Baltic. The Polish Navy was now cooperating with the British.
