RUGBY, November 19.
Before leaving the Front, Mr Hore Belisha said: “The men of the British Expeditionary Force are all cheerful. Their health is good, and I am confident we are winning the war comfortably." Mr Hore Belisha, who spent practically all the hours of daylight, yesterday, visiting various sectors of the British line, went to-day, into the French area. Before he returns to England, it. is reported that he will see M. Daladier and will visit the headquarters of General Gamelin. Mr Hore Belisha said: “The spirit, of the troops is noteworthy. 1 have keen impressed with the efficiency o; the administration arrangements. 1 think the lessons of the last wir have been put to very good profit. Transport, which broke down in the last war, has been exceptionally weH run. The general smoothness with which everything is running is most satisfactory. The activVy on our section of the Front also impressed me.”
