Jewels valued at over £2soh wore stolen from the suite of the ?Jah‘trijah of Tripura, when the United Stater liner Mariposa. which arrived yesterday. was on its way from Auckland to Sydney.
Other passengers reported t holts during the voyage. The police made a thorough search when the liner anchored, but the jewels were not found.
