It is reported' in Rome that Roumanian envoys recalled from Ankara and from Belgrade conferred with King Carol and his leading Ministers on the effect of the British-French-Turkish Pact, on the possibility of forming a neutral bloc in South-east Europe, and on relations between the Balkans and the adjacent Powers.
