[PER I’RESB association. I MISSING BA NKR UPT. WELLINGTON, October 27. At a meeting ci' creditors, yesterday, of Raymond F. Nelson, ii was stated by Mr. M. H. Robinson, manager of Reuter’s. Ltd., in New Zealand, that Nelson had been described in an affidavit in the Supreme Court as advertising manager for Reuter’s in New Zealand, whereas, said Mr. Robinson, he was simply an advertising canvasser or salesman, with no managerial authority whatsoever. CONTROL OVER MILK-BARS AUCKLAND, October 27. Quoting a recent decision by the Chief Justice (Sir Michael Myers) that a milk, shake is not. milk, the technical adviser to the Auckland Metropolitan Milk Council reported to the Milk Council, to-day, that control over the milk-bar trade was in an unsatisfactory position. Samples taken from a suburban milk bar were described as slightly dirty, dirty, and very dirty. Owing to the legal position, even in this case the Council could take no action. The Council decided to draw the attention of the Minister of Health to the matter. BOGUS PETROL COUPONS. WELLINGTON, October 27. Stated to have printed two coupons resembling the official petrol coupons, and used them to obtain petrol, Bernard Ellis Williams, 25, a compositor, pleaded guilty and was fined £2 on each of two charges. A charge of forging a coupon was dismissed, the nolice offering no evidence. Mr. Stout, S.M.. issued a warning that, now the matter had been ventilated, others appearing before him need not expect such lenient treatment. Williams, who is employed by a city printing firm, was stated to have said that he. got the occasional use of a car owned by his mother. As he was not Ihe registered owner, he was unable to get coupons. He had printed only two, and had then realised his foolishness, and bad destroyed the type.
