The wash-up from the Golden Sands claim was 52 ounces ISdwt for 69 shifts. BLACKBALL CREEK. The Blackball Creek dredge return was 53ozs in' 184 hours’ dredging time.

NEMONA. Owing to the plant undergoing repairs, there will be no wash-up at the Nemona. dredge until next week. WORKSOP EXTENDED. The Worksop Extended Gold Dredging Company’s return for the period ended October 10 was 29ozs. Loss of time was necessitated in turning the dredge. ARGO. The Argo dredge return for this week is 21 ounces from 12,000 yards, treated in 123 hours. BIG RIVER MINES. The report for the week ending October 12 of the Big River Gold Mines, Ltd., is as follows: —No 5 Level, north stope: Stoping north end stone 3ft 6in wide; filling south end; No. 6 Level, rise:Rose 6ft. Total 22ft. Shaft; Sunk 7ft. Total 18ft (No. 6 to 7). Battery: 25 tons of stone sent to the battery.
