BEER AND “RASPBERRY.” LONDON, September 29. Hitler does not drink coffee. This is the official Berlin radio’s reply to a statement that 20 bags of coffee, addressett personally to the Fuehrer, were seized k 7 the British contraband control service. Hitler drinks only diluted beer and raspberry cordial. He dislikes coffee; it burns his tongue, declares the Berlin radio. “This may not be generally known in England, but in Germany even the street urchins are aware of it,” added the announcer. “We resent such rumours being circulated about our Fuehrer.”
