Kakapo is loading for Miramar and Wellington, and will sail early to-mor-row, if conditions permit. Kiwitea arrived in the roadstead last night, but the bar was unworkable to-day. She has cargo from Auckland, and after discharge will load for Auckland and Portland. Puriri was to leave Wanganui last ..night for Greymouth direct, and is due to-morrow morning, to load for Onehunga and Port Waikato. She returns .about September 30, to load for return to Onehunga and Port Waikato. Rata left Tarakohe last night for Greymouth, via Westport, and is due .to-morrow, to load for Nelson. Huanui is due to-night, from Foxton, to load coal for return. Korowai was to leave Wellington at 3 o’clock this afternoon for Greymouth, to load for return. Gabriella is expected to leave Wellington to-morrow with cargo for Greymouth, and will load here on Friday, for return. Hokitika is reported to be still stranded on the south spit at Foxton, 'although undamaged. It is hoped to .refloat her when the tides are higher.
