RUGBY, July IS. The highest speed ever attained at Brooklands by a standard closed car was achieved by Captain Eyston, in a streamlined Bentley, at 114.62 miles per hour. TREASURY RETlS^f.' RUG BY? July 18. Treasury returns show that the total ordinary revenue tor the-current financial year up to July 15 amounted to £177,558,586, compared with £16,458,998 at the corresponding date in 1938. .
