COX AND McCREADY DRAW,

WELLINGTON, July 17
In a strenuous wrestling bout, “-King Kong” Cox drew with Earl McCready to-night. There were no falls. Cox gave a virile and! entertaining exhibition, and as 1 McCready injured an elbow in the sixth round he set the pace during a considerable portion of the contest.
BLOMFIELD DEFEATS FORSTER
DUNEDIN, July 17
A professional wrestling contest held to-night between! Lofty Blomfield and the South African, Frank Forster, resulted in a win on points for Blomfield. Forster took a fall in the second round (with a flying .scissors and a body press, Blomfield equalising in the seventh with a step-over forward toe-hold.
Blomfield had all the better of the lasts round, and) the decision was popular. The bout was lively and' characterised! by more than the usual amount of “jungle tactics.”
