SHIPPING NOTES.

Kartigi sailed last night for Wellington and Miramar. Huanui sailed early this afternoon, with coal for Foxton.

Kaimiro is loading for Miramar and Wellington and is to sail to-morrow. Tees is due early to-morrow morning, from Wellington, to load timber for return.

Kakapo left Lyttelton to-day for Greymouth, and is due on Thursday morning, to load coal for Wellington. Rata is due on Friday, to load for Nelson and Tarakohe.

Puriri is due on Thursday, to load timber for Onehunga. Hokitika is expected to leave Wellington to-morrow with cargo for Greymouth, and Hokitika, being due here on Friday. Kalingo is due about Monday, to load timber for Sydney and Newcastle. Kauri is due about July 26, to load timber for Melbourne.

A Union Company vessel is due about Monday, to load for Auckland and Portland.

Matthew Flinders is due about August 3 with cargo from Sydney, via Auckland and Wellington.
